Even if you have a medical condition that has been unstable in the last 60
days, you should still consider enrolling in the Carnival Cruise Vacation
Protection Plan because:
-
If you are denied a cash refund for your trip cancellation due to a
pre-existing condition, Carnival will instead provide you with a future cruise
credit equal to the cancellation penalty amount;
-
If you cancel for a reason unrelated to your known, unstable medical
condition, the Carnival Cruise Vacation Protection Plan may still provide you
a refund. For example, if a family member who is not traveling with you
becomes ill and you must cancel your trip, Carnival will refund your otherwise
non-refundable cruise and air cancellation charges. Or, if you become ill or
injured and it is unrelated to your unstable medical condition, Carnival will
refund your otherwise non-refundable cruise and air cancellation charges;
-
The plan will provide you with protection against loss of your bags, travel
delays and emergency medical evacuation.
