Our young cruisers ages 9 through 11 will delight in the  fun-filled and age-appropriate activities at Camp Carnival^SM. From dodgeball and pool parties to video games and scavenger hunts, your kids will have the opportunity to participate in fun events and make new friends from all over the world.

Parents can take advantage of the evening After Hours services from 10 p.m. till 12 a.m. At this time your kids can come and chill with their friends while their parents enjoy the adult entertainment on board. Whether it is arts & crafts, board games or just hanging out with friends and listening to music, it is their choice. From 12 a.m. - 3 a.m. they can join the younger cruisers for our Slumber Party service.

Specialty Programs

Many of these activities are based on educational experiences but the main focus is on having fun.

• ExerSeas – A recreational fitness program that encourages kids to "get out and play" through intense physical activity and may include activities and games like Basketball, Dodgeball, Scooter Soccer, Ping Pong, and Mini Golf.
• Edu-Cruise – Fun interactive projects focusing on cultures, landmarks, history and geography and may include projects like Maya Mania & Pirates.
• H2Ocean – Science based program incorporating hands on projects like Make Your Own Ice Cream, Goop and Rainbow Combinations.
• SeaNotes – Introduces kids to different musical instruments and genres and may include activities like Rock Star Night, Karaoke, Name That Tune & Musical Jeopardy.
• Water Colors – Kids create their own artistic masterpieces and learn techniques employed by professional artists, and may include Value Drawing, Rolled Paper Frames, Mono-printing and The Great Art Robbery.
• A-B-Seas – Promotes reading and education in a fun learning environment for children and their families and may include activities like Family Story Time, Memory Books and Camp Carnival Book Club. 

Family Activities

Camp Carnival^SM likes to promote fun filled vacation experiences for the whole family and in order to do this on all vessels we offer a selection of family activities.

Facilities and Specialty Equipment

Our playrooms offer a wide variety of equipment throughout the fleet. All playrooms will have Game Boys, Spin Art, Sand Art and Candy Art available.  Specialty items include (these are varied based on the class of vessel): Movie Wall, Air Hockey, Foosball, Karaoke, and much more.

Sign In/Out Policy:

Children 9 YEARS OLD AND OVER are free to sign themselves in and out of Camp Carnival^SM as they choose. Children are not permitted to sign themselves out after 10pm. Parents that do not want their 9- to 11-year olds to sign themselves in & out of our activities MUST sign their child in & out when attending Camp Carnival^SM. Camp Carnival^SM is not responsible for children nine years old and over once they have signed themselves out of a Camp Carnival^SM Activity. While most of the Camp Carnival^SM activities for this age group are supervised, there will be times when they are divided into teams for a scavenger hunt or other such activities, and will not be accompanied by a member of the Youth Staff.

All kids must be registered with Camp Carnival^SM in order to participate in the activities, but it's up to them how many -- or how few -- they choose to attend. The friendly and experienced Youth Staff at Camp Carnival^SM wants to enhance your child's vacation experience. This is why they've tailored activities specifically designed to entertain this age group.
