Valletta: City of the Knights

Depart quayside in coaches for a short drive around Valletta’s bastions. Drive past Fort St. Elmo and stop for a photo while admiring Fort Manoel and Marsamxett Harbour. Upon arrival in Valletta, Malta's capital city, visit the Upper Barracca Gardens on foot for a panoramic view of Malta's natural harbors and the historic cities of Senglea, Cospicua and Vittoriosa. Then, proceed to St. John's Co-Cathedral – the Conventual’s Church of the Knights of Malta also including the famous masterpiece, The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist. Finally, walk to the Palace Armoury within the Magisterial Palace, formerly the residence of the Grand Masters of the Order. Enjoy some free time to explore on your own before your return drive to the ship.
