I went on a cruise at the end of last year with Carnival to the Caribbean and it was so beautiful.
We visited Nassau in the Bahamas where I had never been before. It was so amazing there. Not only were there absolutely beautiful beaches but there were so many fun stores and merchants selling things! We just walked around the town for a bit and explored all the stores.
We went to this place called the Straw Market where you can buy tons of local goods and cute souvenirs. We also got these amazing fresh coconuts which were so so good and they opened them right in front of us. They were super refreshing and so yummy.
There was a live band playing some authentic Caribbean music and it was so fun to watch all the people dancing along and enjoying the island. Plus everything was so colorful and fun!
Once we had explored all day and went back to the ship, I really loved just sitting with my pina colada and watching the waves and looking at the islands. It really is beautiful there and so so peaceful.
I had an amazing time exploring the islands and getting to experience the Bahamas for the first time and I can’t wait to go back!
