17 Photos Proving That Cruising in Autumn is Awesome

When’s the best time to take a Caribbean cruise? Seasoned cruisers suggest April and July. The islands aren’t as crowded during those months and the weather is gorgeous, they say. With that in mind, I’d like to add late autumn to the list of best times for a Caribbean cruise, in particular November and the first two weeks of December.

Sure, it’s the tail end of hurricane season, but the likelihood of actually being affected by a hurricane or even a tropical storm is relatively low. In fact, we had sensational weather during our November cruise last year. (Keep in mind: western Caribbean islands generally have better weather during November than eastern Caribbean islands.) Add the holidays into the mix, and you can often find good deals on island cruises in November.

Now, instead of laying down a hefty 17,000-word story to further substantiate my claim that cruising in colder months is awesome, I’ve decided to let the photos from our trip do the work for me—a picture is worth a thousand words, right? So, here are 17 of our favorite images from our cruise last November on the Carnival Dream.

Man, looking through these images made we wish I was back on the cruise ship. It’s such a good time. We definitely need to look into doing another one in 2016. But where?
