5 YEARS. 195 COUNTRIES.
40+ LANGUAGES.

Explore the World, One Language at a Time
Daily Language Immersion: Each day begins with personalized lessons tailored to the culture and language of your next destination. From ordering tapas in flawless Spanish to navigating train stations in Japanese, you’ll discover it all.
Bucket List Stops: Walk the Great Wall of China, climb the Eiffel Tower in Paris, snap a cute selfie with Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, and tour an abandoned office building in Tinley Park, Illinois that briefly appeared in a 1997 courtroom drama.
Hands-On Cultural Workshops: Enjoy salsa dancing in Colombia, practice the art of pasta making in Italy, and master the mysterious tradition of Nordic pickling in Norway—all while Duo stands over your shoulder nodding silently.

Your NEW Home FOR 1,826 days AT SEA
Sleep, Learn, Repeat: Each stateroom includes a dedicated learning space, a comfy mattress with Carnival Home™ Signature Cruise Sheets, and a lamp that provides light but also, in a way, companionship. Every night, a towel owl awaits on your bed—a gentle reminder that Duo is always watching.
Communal Living: Duo’s unique vision of cultural immersion includes “surprise roommates” in select rooms, fostering lifelong connections—or at least a Duolingo Friend Streak.
Luxury Suites: Upgrade to Super Duolingo Max Premium Diamond Elite™ for a private balcony, unlimited Video Calls with Lily, and two complimentary bottles of tap water (330 mL) per month. You will not regret it. Or maybe you will.

DELICIOUS MEALS THAT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
Globally Inspired Menus: Dive into tangy Sweet and Sour Shrimp, healthy-ish Mediterranean mezze platters, and searing hot empanadas. Your taste buds are about to get their passport stamped!
Specialty Restaurants: Can’t decide what to eat? ChiBang!™ is for people who want Asian food but also Mexican food at the same time. At Bonsai™, they do sushi, which is tasty raw fish wrapped in seaweed like a tiny ocean sleeping bag.
JavaBlue Café: Order a decaf coffee, scroll aimlessly through your phone, and look up just often enough to seem like you’re deep in thought.

FUN ENTERTAINMENT FROM AROUND THE WORLD
Interactive Game Nights: Every evening features group activities designed to build camaraderie. Guests can participate in team challenges where success is celebrated, and failure is addressed quietly afterward.
Star-Studded Performances: Each night, treat yourself to live entertainment at the Punchliner Comedy Club featuring hilarious acts like Arthur Wolfe (“Divorced and Loving It?” R-18+) and Carla Flores (“Please Clap,” R-18+), along with other performers contractually obligated to be here.
Spectacular Musicals: Experience the magic of Duolingo on Ice, the world’s first multilingual musical. Sing along to all your favorite songs like “Spanish or Vanish” and “French or the Trench”, and “Japanese or Broken Knees”.

EXCLUSIVE DUOLINGO WORLD CRUISE MERCH
Look like you belong: Purchase a matching shirt and shorts set featuring an all-over pattern of Duo in various nautical situations. Perfect for sailing the globe or just standing near any body of water.
Stake your claim: Uncomfortably wet? Grab a Captain Duo towel that lets you reserve lounge chairs, dry off, or silently assert dominance at the pool.
Stay shady: Throw on a bucket hat featuring Captain Duo, equally useful for UV protection and strategically avoiding conversations with that one guy who keeps whispering “it’s crab legs day baby.”

Can I leave the ship early?
Absolutely not. Please see Terms & Conditions, pg. 312: No Refunds, No Regrets.
What happens if I miss my streak?
Missing your streak triggers a ship-wide announcement. Duo will personally visit your stateroom to discuss your “motivation.”
What should I pack?
As little as possible. Trust us, you’ll adapt.
Is this cruise family-friendly?
Yes! With Duolingo, kids can learn over 40 languages at their own pace. And with Duolingo Math, they’ll also discover how a single accounting trick can relocate billions of dollars to the Cayman Islands overnight.
What if I don’t make friends on the cruise?
That would be unfortunate. We offer multiple social opportunities, but if none of them work, we recommend embracing solitude.
What if I don’t attend Duo’s Captain’s Dinner?
Attendance is encouraged, though absence is noted. No immediate action will be taken, but the following year’s seating chart may reflect your decision.
Can I bring my own snacks?
You may bring one (1) personal snack item. Choose wisely.
Are the zip-lines safe?
Statistically, yes. However, participants must sign a waiver acknowledging that all physical activity carries inherent risk. Let’s be honest, nothing in life is without risk. Stop being a coward and do the zip-line.
What if I don’t enjoy my excursion?
While unfortunate, this provides a valuable opportunity to reflect on your decision-making skills.
What happens if I don’t attend karaoke night?
Missing karaoke is considered a breach of cruise policy. Duo will add your name to the “Wall of Shame” in the main dining area.
What if I forget what day it is?
This happens more than you’d think. The ship’s daily announcements will remind you, though some guests choose to stop keeping track.
What if I get seasick?
Motion sickness is addressed with onboard homeopathic remedies, but guests are also encouraged to “reframe” the feeling as part of the adventure.
