Segway Experience: Head out on a unique adventure through the streets of Alicante as your guide accompanies you throughout this Segway city tour. Leave the port area behind and ride towards the famous Spanish Esplanade, Paseo de las Palmeras, known for its distinctive pavements and palm trees. A stop will be made at Plaza Gabriel Miró before you continue your journey towards the historic city centre. Visit the Garrigo Museum and see the tunnels that connect the city’s ancient water deposits. From the terrace area, Santa Barbara Castle can be viewed standing at the peak of Mount Benacantil, as well as the famous silhouette of the Arabian face on the mountain. Return to the Old Quarter, through St. Augustine Square, past the 18th century Baroque-style Town Hall, and through the Spanish Esplanade as you make your way back to the ship.
This is an active excursion, and guests must be physically fit in order to participate. Minimum age – 16 years. Maximum weight – 140kg. Sunglasses, sunscreen and suitable footwear are recommended. Helmets will be provided and must be worn when riding the Segway. Regular stops will be made throughout the tour.
