Scenic Amsterdam

Relax on a scenic city tour of Amsterdam, enjoying a visit to a local cheese factory and a photo opportunity at a typical Dutch windmill.  

Your sightseeing excursion begins with a panoramic drive, in your motor coach, past the Baroque-style Royal Palace in Dam Square and the New Church, a 550 year old church that is the site of numerous inaugurations and final resting place of many important Dutchmen.  

Continue past the Mint Tower, where coins were minted centuries ago, and past the Central Railway Station and the 15^th century Weeper’s Tower.  

On your way to the cheese factory, drive through the beautiful lowlands North of Amsterdam. The “Beemsterpolder” (the Beemster lowland) is registered on UNESCO’s world heritage list. 

You will first have the chance to make a photo stop at a typical Dutch windmill, before you halt at local cheese farm where you can sample some of the delicious produce and enjoy some free time to shop, before returning to your ship by coach.
