Catamaran Snorkel Adventure: Upon arrival at the pier, you'll be greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Board the waiting catamaran for a scenic journey along the northwest coast to Great Bird Island, renowned as one of Antigua's premier snorkeling spots. This private 20-acre islet, located nearly 2 miles northeast of Antigua, is often described as a "desert island" dream by visitors. Named for its abundance of nesting birds, Great Bird Island is a picturesque paradise. Following brief instructions, don your mask, fins, and buoyancy belt, and dive into the crystal-clear waters for a guided snorkeling experience led by experts.
Nature Walk: Hike up the hilltop trail for stunning views of outlying islands and Antigua, perfect for spotting migrating whales (December to May), sea turtles, and various bird species nesting year-round. This area is renowned for its two exceptional beaches, ideal for relaxation and sunbathing, as well as the surrounding coral reefs. It's also a rare opportunity to spot the non-venomous Antiguan Racer snake in its natural habitat. This location supports diverse wildlife, including endangered species like the red-billed tropic birds, brown pelicans, rare lizards, West Indian whistling ducks, and magnificent frigate birds.
