Best Highlights of Bonaire:
Goto Lake: A saltwater lagoon in the north of the island, known as a flamingo meeting place. Bonaire is one of the few places in the world where pink flamingos nest.
Historic Rincon Village: The oldest village in continual existence in the Dutch Caribbean, originally settled by the Spanish in the early 1500s. Rincon was strategically nestled within a valley to ward off impending danger from pirates and other threats.
Museum Washington Slabgaai National Park: Photos, artifacts, and informative plaques all combine to create a comprehensive view of Bonaire.
Cadushy Distillery: Small distillery and tasting room offering tours and samples of rum, vodka, whiskey and unique spirits.
Salt Flats & Salt Pyramids: Huge piles of crystals creating an “icy” unreal landscape. The white salt pyramids are a must-see in Bonaire. You may spot the Caribbean pink flamingos, too!
