Depart Civitavecchia pier and head to Rome by motorcoach.

Drive by the Colosseum and Circus Maximus immortalized in Ben Hur. This is where chariot races took place in Roman times.

You’ll also see Palatine Hill with the residence of Roman Emperors. Passing through St. Paul's Gate, watch for the Pyramid of Caius Cestius nearby.

Continue along the old Ostiense Way to St. Paul's Basilica, where you will have brief free time.
