Easy Corfu Island Tour

This easy paced tour starts with a scenic drive towards Kanoni to admire the gorgeous views from Mouse Island and the Monastery of Vlacherna. Pause to take photos before continuing along the Garitsa Bay to Corfu Town and wander through the old streets of the bustling little capital. Corfu’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is truly worth exploring. Through the course of many centuries, the town has had many foreign influences. You will see something of an Italian atmosphere, influences of its period of British rule and its truly Greek character. Stroll through the Old Town’s narrow streets and see the mix of impressive buildings that are built in the Venetian style, mansions and manyintriguing landmarks. Take in views of the Old Fortress, Durrell Gar Venetian Well, Town Hall and the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Spyridon, the patron saint and protector of the island. There will be time for leisure or shopping, and we will also make a short stop at a local kumquat liqueur distillery nearby.
