Enter this UNESCO-listed neighborhood through the Bonati Arch, venture into the Jewish Quarter, and pass a 300-year-old synagogue. At George’s Traditional Products, taste original noubolo ham, often referred to as Corfu’s prosciutto and one of the island’s many unique delicacies. The “gastro” walk continues at Pergola, a traditional family-owned taverna serving local wine and bourdetto, a spicy fish casserole in a paprika-flavored tomato sauce. Later, admire the Town Hall’s Venetian style from the late 1600’s before sipping on kumquat liqueur in a quaint small shop called Afthonia.
