Welcoming Ritual: Let the Mayan dancers welcome you with the sound of the shell, a very traditional instrument used in many rituals, asking permission to the Mayan Gods to enter to this mystic place. The Mayan warriors will allow you to enter Aldea Mahahua, by performing a group cleanse and a ritual dance.
Chapel: At the Chapel, you will see a representation of The Mayan sacred tree, “Ceiba”, smell the Mayan incense, “Copal”, and learn more about the Mayan World. Let the Mayan dancers purify your soul by listening to their prays and smelling the copal. This Mayan incense was used in many rituals.
Folkloric Dances: Learn about individual dresses and folkloric dances of Mexico’s four different regions. State of Nayarit - the dance of the “Machetes”: represents the strength of men in Mexico, but also the softness when treating a lady. State of Yucatan – the dance of “La Jarana”: the women use the typical dress called “Terno” or "Huipil”, showing the most beautiful embroideries. State of Veracruz – the dance of ‘’La Bamba’’: the most popular dance in Mexico. State of Jalisco – the dance of “El Jarabe Tapatío”: to introduce the longest colorful skirts and amazing sombreros charros.
Tequila Tasting: Visit the bar where you will be able to taste our delicious tequila, prepared specially for you. Play some Mexican games while enjoying drinks and a Mexican show.
Shopping: At La Aldea, you will find different types of quality souvenirs. After, your driver will take you to downtown to continue shopping for some local crafts.
