Save A Sea Turtle Experience

Turtle Interaction: Participate in one of Cozumel's best-kept secrets - the Save-a-Sea Turtle program. This tour will allow you to save the turtles yourself. Every evening the turtles hatch and make their way to the sea. This is a natural process, but in the frenzy of the nest only about 80% of the hatched turtles have the stamina and jolt of energy to climb out. On this tour we backtrack the previous evening's event and help rescue the 20% of turtles who were not ready for the dash to the sea and recover these turtles until their inner organs are mature enough to be released by digging them out. This process is extremely heartwarming as you will be in indirect contact with nature, and you will be directly involved in saving the little life of the turtle so it may have a true chance at life.

Beach Time: At the end of this once in a lifetime experience, relax and enjoy about an hour of beach time, to cool off and refresh.
