This RIB adventure promises unforgettable sights and stories as you navigate the stunning landscapes and rich history of the Westman Islands. Departing from Heimaey harbor, set off on a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) to explore the island's highlights, starting with the east to witness the new lava formations from the eruption. Your journey takes you to the bird paradise of Stakkabót, offering a chance to marvel at the impressive variety of sea bird species, including puffin colonies with an estimated 6 to 8 million puffins (from May to August). The Westman Islands host one of the world's largest gannet and guillemot colonies, along with numerous other nesting sea birds. Keep an eye out for whales, including orcas, dolphins, and porpoises. Explore six sea caves, sailing into some of them to discover fascinating rock formations, such as the elephant in Dalfjall and the auk's head in Ystaklettur. Visit Kafhellir cave, one of the most spectacular, where sunlight shines from beneath the island.

Surfaces underfoot can be slippery, and guests are asked to exercise caution when getting on and off the boat, moving around and standing.
