Enjoy Helsinki from the sea and its beautiful archipelago. With over 180,000 islands, the Finnish archipelago is one of the world’s largest. After a short bus transfer to downtown’s Market Square, join a private boat tour taking you around the islands outside of western Helsinki. Discover how close and convenient everything is around the city. Enjoy seeing the unique urban waterfronts, beautiful nature and some well-known buildings, while your guide tells you the interesting history of Helsinki. Pass by the Suomenlinna fortification islands. Suomenlinna is a major monument of military architecture and is included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The construction of the sea fortress on the islands just outside of Helsinki took place in the middle of the 18th century and was the most extensive building project during the Swedish rule. After this delightful tour on the sea, you will return to the Market Square where you have some limited time for shopping for souvenirs, before boarding your bus to be transferred back to the pier.
