Requirements & Restrictions: Guest must be able to step up and onto aircraft using a steep ramp with handrail. Minimum age of 8 years. Passenger names and weights are required by the FAA. Passengers over 250 lbs. (fully clothed) will be assessed a weight surcharge of $168.00 paid directly to the tour operator just prior to the flight departure. Infants up to and including the day prior to their second birthday can be considered a lap child and should be added to the parent's weight they will be sitting on and are at no cost. On or after his/her 2nd birthday, the child is required by FAA to have his/her own seat and will be charged accordingly.

Good to Know: Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Large bags/backpacks are not permitted inside the floatplane, unless the guest has medical needs that require a carry-on bag. All other bags brought to our terminal will be stored until you return from your flight. Access to this prime habitat is restricted by US Forest Service permits, to minimize impact and to protect resources. Bottled water is available. Dress warmly in layers. Wear a hat or beanie; bring gloves and a scarf. The ¼-mile hike to/from the bear viewing area is over uneven, and sometimes difficult, slippery terrain with a few steps. Not accessible for guests traveling in wheelchairs or who have limited mobility. Transfer from aircraft to trailhead is approximately 1 mile via van.
