Caves of Wonders & Chavon River Cruise

Take an amazing journey in the Cave of Wonders, then enjoy a scenic cruise along the Chavon River, amongst the beautiful tropical landscape. Your journey starts with a visit to Cueva de las Maravillas (Cave of Wonders). The cave's 240-meter footpath leads you 25 feet underground, where stalagmites and stalactites appear like the notes of an orchestra playing on the grand stage of an enormous theater hall. This cave boasts a collection of approximately 500 paintings that were created by the inhabitants living on the island during the time of the arrival of Columbus. Many impressive drawings can be seen throughout the tour of the caves. After your cave tour, board your air-conditioned coach for a short drive to the pier. There you’ll board a traditional boat for a scenic cruise along the Chavon River, surrounded by a beautiful tropical landscape, known as “the tropical jungle.” When your cruise is over, you’ll return back to your ship.
