Accessibility: This tour is ambulatory accessible. Guests must be able to take a few steps to enter and exit the bus. Wheelchair users should reserve Easy All Access Pass to Veragua (Wheelchair User) tour to secure transportation space. Those traveling with wheelchair users should reserve this tour.
Requirements & Restrictions: For safety reasons, pregnant women, and guests with back or neck injuries may not participate on this excursion due to bumpy gravel roads for short periods.
What to Bring: Cash or credit card for purchases, comfortable shoes, hat, sunscreen, poncho, and insect repellant.
Good to Know: This is a guided tour with a licensed naturalist guide. Wildlife sightings are common but not guaranteed. Order of tour may vary. Ponchos are available for purchase at the entrance. Veragua Rainforest is recipient of the Certificate for Sustainable Tourism (CST) issued by the Costa Rican Government and it also established a Foundation for Rainforest Research. There is an optional trail to visit a waterfall which is not part of this tour but is open to guests interested in the added sight, however, please note that guests must take 350 steps to reach the point from where the waterfall can be seen.
