Coastal Highlights: Explore Limón, a province spanning approximately 3,550 square miles with a population of around 400,000 residents, many of whom are descendants of Afro-Caribbean Jamaicans brought to Costa Rica in the 20th century for railroad construction. After departing the port, journey through Limón's historic neighborhood, originally constructed by the first Jamaican settlers on stilts to combat challenging coastal conditions like swamps, landslides, floods, jungle fevers, and heavy rains.

Banana Plantation: After a 30-minute bus ride, explore a rural tourism project with guided walks through banana plantations and key Costa Rican crops like coffee, cocoa, and bananas. Your guide will provide informative insights into these industries.
