Foundation for Rainforest Research: Visit the Foundation for Rainforest Research labs and learn about rainforest conservation and research. Biologists will explain how they work to unlock nature’s mysteries in partnership with the University of Costa Rica.
Shopping Time: Enjoy time in the gift shop stocked full of foundation logo items, art, t-shirts, hats, and souvenirs.
What’s Included:
Requirements & Restrictions: You must be able to take a few steps to enter and exit the bus and the boat and walk short distances. A wheelchair or scooter can be stored in the bus for use at Veragua, but cannot be used at the canals. For safety reasons, pregnant women, and guests with back or neck injuries, may not participate on this excursion due to bumpy gravel roads for short periods.
What to Bring: Cash or credit card for purchases, hat or visor, poncho, sunscreen, and bug repellant.
