Rafting Adventure: Your adventure begins as you board your transportation for the drive through the picturesque Caribbean side of the country to the rafting location. Upon arrival, you'll find changing rooms to don your gear and enjoy some refreshments prior to heading out to the launching site. There, your professional guide will provide basic instruction and paddling techniques, as well as a safety briefing before you begin. Your rafting trip down the Reventazon River features wide-open stretches of smooth water punctuated by small waves and easy rapids (class II rapids). Be on the lookout for wildlife, such as toucans, kingfishers, herons, tanagers and iguanas. Your adventure will conclude alongside a banana plantation. Here you'll transfer to a vehicle and return to the welcome center for a snack and souvenir shopping.
Shopping Stop: Browse at the welcome center, where you will find souvenirs, caps, t-shirts and more. If time permits, you will have more shopping options at Limon pier from local artisans showcasing wood handcrafts, coffee, and jewels.
