Island Drive, Tiki Theater Village & Juice Factory

Take a narrated drive around the island on this half-day excursion. Visit the Tiki Village Theatre nestled under the palm fronds of a coconut plantation on the shores of Haapiti lagoon. Stroll the village and meet the people. See demonstrations of tiki carving and mat weaving followed by a dance performance by villagers in traditional costume. The local craftsmen make their wares available for sale at the village. Visit the Moorea Fruit Juice Factory where sweet drinks are made from papaya, pineapple, and other tropical island fruits. They also produce 10 to 40-proof fruit brandies, including star fruit, ginger, and papaya, as well as 25-proof liqueurs, all available for sale. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views at the Kia Ora lookout and see the oldest church still in use in the South Pacific.
