Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 6 years. For safety reasons, this tour is not suitable for guests who are pregnant, have limited to no vision or hearing, lower limb amputees, with mobility difficulties or use a wheelchair, or have a condition causing sudden uncontrollable movements or loud outbursts, such as epilepsy or Tourette’s. Guests must be able to climb up and down vertical platforms, such as ladders or ramps, and stand on their own for extended periods of time (30 minutes). Cameras, cell phones, and other electronic devices are not allowed during the dolphin program.
What to Bring: Light clothing, sun hat, and debit/credit card for purchases (American Express card is not accepted on the island).
Good to Know: Transportation to the island is via a 35-minute, scenic boat ride. Guests booked on other Blue Lagoon tours may travel together on the boat. Paddle boards, kayaks, water bikes, and snorkel gear are available for rent. Facilities also include showers, lockers and changing rooms. Blue Lagoon Island is certified under the global American Humane Conservation program for the welfare and humane treatment of the animals under its care.
