Discover the beauty of this breathtaking ‘nature’ island in small groups by a tour van and combine it with a Wailua River Cruise and a visit to its famous Fern Grotto.

Your memorable day will begin with a visit to the famous Opaeka’a falls and Poliahu Heiau, one of Kauai’s most sacred and historic locations.

Continue your adventure to the Wailua River and Fern Grotto. This visitor attraction is one of the Island’s most popular, and includes a leisurely boat ride up Hawaii’s only navigable river, the Wailua River, to the famously romantic Fern Grotto.

The Fern Grotto offers a natural amphi-theatre of lava rock and tropical vegetation where you are met and serenaded Hawaiian Style… and just for a moment transported back in time.

Next, discover the North Shore of this beautiful Island in your tour van.  Along the way you will learn about Island history and culture, including the legend of the Sleeping Giant.

Visit the breathtaking Kilauea Lighthouse and nearby Kilauea National Wildlife Refuge and bird sanctuary.  You will also see Anini Beach, where you will enjoy an appetizing island style picnic lunch.

Once refreshed, it is off to the Princeville Resort Area, where you will pass by Hanalei Bay, one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

Note: Minimum age 5 years. There are winding roads. Due to vehicle storage restrictions, guests with wheelchairs and walkers are unable to take this excursion.

The Kilauea Lighthouse is closed on Sundays and Mondays. On these days a visit to the area will still be conducted but the lighthouse and grounds will be inaccessible.
