Requirements & Restrictions: For safety reasons, guests with limited or no vision or hearing must always travel with a companion. All guests must be able to climb the steps into/out of the vessel unassisted. Certain medical conditions will prevent guests from snorkeling, such as asthma, lung and heart conditions. A medical questionnaire must be completed prior to snorkeling.

Good to Know: The cruise between Port Douglas and the outer reef takes approximately 90 minutes each way. Guests prone to seasickness should take the necessary precautions, as this trip can be rough. The box jellyfish and stinger season starts with the onset of the wet season across the top of northern Australia, usually between October and April. The operator reserves the right to determine if guests with pre-existing conditions are able to participate.
