Butze Rainforest Nature Exploration

Butze Pacific Northwest: Discover the flora and fauna of the region, as well as the unique reversing tidal rapids and the Indigenous history of the area. Visit the Butze Rapids trailhead located 10 minutes away from the cruise terminal, where you will disembark and be given a brief overview of safety tips and Indigenous-inspired forest etiquette before entering the trail. There will be stops along the trail at key points with supporting infographic signage to provide tour information. At the bottom of the trail, there is an opportunity to explore the intertidal areas and enjoy a snack.
