Trolley: You will hop aboard a trolley for a narrated Prince Rupert Olde Time Trolley experience. At the conclusion of the experience, you will be treated to a boxed picnic that you may enjoy at any of the picnic tables in scenic Seal Cove or at any of the cove’s waterfront benches. Visit the historic parts of our beautiful remote coastal city. With the unique distinction of being the only municipality nestled in the beauty and majesty of the Great Bear Rainforest, you will hear about the boom, bust and rebuilding of our tumultuous economy as your trolley navigates the rainbow city neighborhoods. Learn about the local 10,000-year-old Tsimshian Nation and Sm’algya_x speaking people.
Picnic: Presented with your picnic boxes, choose your spot, and celebrate the natural surroundings along with the pace of slow tourism. Following your picnic, you may choose to return at the designated return time via trolley or choose to walk the 40-minute, comfortable pace, waterfront Rushbrook Trail to your awaiting ship.
