Party Bus: After a short drive to Merida City, begin your party aboard your Guagua – a colorful, wooden bus. Enjoy non-stop Mexican music and complimentary drinks, while your host gives you some facts about the interesting history and traditions of the Yucatan.
Cantina La Negrita: Stop at a classic, 100-year-old cantina, La Negrita. This dimly lit cantina has artisanal beers made on the premises and offers over 50 kinds of organic Mezcal from all over Mexico (pro-tip: try the Indocumentado). There will be some serious sampling and plenty of snacks.
Mezcal Tasting & Crickets Experience: Finally, stop to the last cantina of the day and sample some traditional Mezcal and crickets while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Shopping Time: Stop at local art gallery that promotes artisan work, exposing the richness of Mexico. Here you will taste a sample of Tequila and learn about the differences in Mezcal. After this experience, you’ll have the opportunity to browse and shop at the location for master pieces of the Mexican culture before returning to your ship.
