Black Beach, Waterfalls & Volcano Exhibition

Embark on a beautiful journey to see stunning waterfalls, a black beach with an incredible basalt column cave, and a volcano exhibition. There is so much to see in just a few hours. You’ll start your tour by heading to Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This beautiful waterfall has a 200-foot drop, and due to the pathways and cavern behind the falls, it has the added charm of allowing guests to fully encircle it in the summer. You’ll continue your journey to the famous Reynisfjara black sand beach. Located near the small village of Vík í Mýrdal, the beach is made of lava which frames an incredibly stunning basalt column cave that resembles a pipe organ. Next, you’ll head toward the Skógafoss waterfall. Enjoy these stunning sights and serene atmosphere, which provide a perfect opportunity to capture photos. Afterward, you’ll continue on to the LAVA Centre. This interactive exhibition depicts exhibits Iceland’s most powerful natural forces — including volcanic activity, earthquakes, and glacial floods.
