Drive for approximately 1 hour to Lake Bracciano, one of the major lakes of Italy that used to be the crater of a volcano and is now well known for its clear and tranquil waters. Visit the medieval town of Bracciano, dominated by the Orsini-Odescalchi Castle, a pentagonal 15th century structure made even more famous by being the location of high-profile celebrity weddings. Your guide will familiarize you with this beautiful area, where you can explore the narrow streets of the town. Re-board your bus for your 60-minute drive back to the ship.
Please wear comfortable shoes. This excursion cannot be operated on a Monday due to the castle being closed. There is a 15-20 minute walk to the castle, each way, with an uphill slope. Guest must be able to take a many steps (up/down).
