Glacier Flightseeing: Your journey starts with a brief drive to the heliport, where you'll be fitted with glacier overboots and receive a safety orientation. Then, take off and enjoy breathtaking views of towering mountains, deep valleys, and pristine lakes before landing at the dog camp on the Denver Glacier!

Sled Dog Demo: Once on the glacier, meet a professional musher who will teach you about dog sledding, including equipment, prepping for a race, and their training. Help gear up the team, then watch as they race across the glacier with their musher. Following the demonstration, enjoy cuddling with future Iditarod champion puppies before returning to Skagway.

Requirements & Restrictions: Guests should be able to navigate steps and support their own body weight to board the helicopter. Additionally, guests must be capable of walking over snow on a glacier. Guests must board with minimal assistance and walk 200 ft. while navigating two 18-inch steps independently. A $150 surcharge applies to guests weighing 250 lbs. (113 kg) or more, with only one surcharge allowed per departure. All children aged 24 months and older need their own paid seat; those under 24 months fly free as lap children. For safety reasons, bags, canes, extendible items such as selfie sticks, water bottles, drones and tablets are not allowed on the helicopter. Lockers are available at the base. A parental consent form is required for unaccompanied guests aged 12 to 17 years, while children under 12 years must travel with a parent or legal guardian.

What to Bring: Comfortable shoes, dress in warm layers, a hat, gloves, sunglasses, and waterproof outerwear. Cameras are recommended.

Good to Know: This tour lasts about two hours and features a 30-minute helicopter flight, with seating assignments and order at the operator's discretion. Please keep in mind that the tour is weather-dependent and does not include a ride on a dog sled.
