Of all three historic towns in the Virgin Islands, the history of Frederiksted is arguably the most remarkable. You will enjoy a walking tour that shares the history of the town while showcasing the magnificent waterfront, historic Fort Frederik, Victorian townhouses and historic churches.
Tours begin on the waterfront adjacent to the pier and wind their way through the wide avenues of the town, from Strand Street to Customs House Street, then on to Prince Street where the Old Danish School and St. Patrick's Church stand then to King Cross Street and ending at Strand Street Park.
Inside visit of Fort Frederik and Caribbean Museum. Guides will highlight the important architectural and design elements of the historic buildings which reflect the Danish Colonial and African influences of the builders, history of the families who own and occupy the buildings and their historic uses.
The tour ends outside the Mall in the front street.
