Details

Enjoy a kayak and snorkel adventure at Pelican Cove! You will start your tour in a motor coach from the town of Philipsburg to Kim Sha Beach on Simpson Bay. Once at the beach, you will receive snorkeling equipment and listen to a brief kayaking lesson from your guide. Then board your double sit-on-top kayak and enjoy a leisurely paddle out to Pelican Rock, where you will be able to admire the resting birds. This area also boasts scenic views of the nearby islands: Saba, St Eustatius and St. Barts. Once you are near Pelican Rock, you will head to a quiet bay called Pelican Cove, where your snorkel experience begins. After beaching your kayaks, you will swim from the beach to the reef, where you will find a wide variety of fish and an array of colorful smaller reef species. See various sea life such as a southern stingray, a curious puffer fish or a shy eel. After 45 minutes of underwater exploration, you will swim back to the cove, where your kayaks await. You will then paddle back to Kim Sha Beach, where you may enjoy a celebratory drink and hear a talk about your recent adventure.
