Philipsburg by Trolley and Pirate Show

Trolley Train: All aboard the Tschu-Tschu Train! Immerse yourself in Philipsburg’s natural, cultural, and historic landmarks on this scenic ride throughout town in a custom trolley train.

Dutch influence: The first Dutch settlers arrived on St. Maarten in 1631, they chose the sandy strip separating Great Bay from Great Salt Pond to build their capital, Philipsburg, where your ship is moored. This excursion combines the exhilarating experience of a classical train ride with a scenic ride throughout Philipsburg, starting at the official Old Amsterdam Venue to taste the famous Dutch gouda cheese.

Pirate Show: Our last stop will be the Rusty Parrot with an exciting and entertaining Pirate FX show, told with dramatic and amazing special effects. You will be treated to a tasting of homemade pirate rum from the barrel on the recreated pirate ship's upper deck while you enjoy the view. We will then pick you up to take you back to ship or you can enjoy more free time to discover Philipsburg and return to ship at your leisure.
