Pirates Treasure: A Shipwreck Museum (located right next door to the Skyride to Paradise Point) incorporates history and interactive exhibits to immerse visitors in the world of pirates, as well as the deep-ocean exploration technology used to recover treasures that were once thought lost forever. At your leisure, stroll through the two-story museum (elevator available) and take in all the sites that are offered. Try your hand at maneuvering the remotely operated vehicle “Zeus” to pick up coins, much like it is used to pick up artifacts on the ocean floor. Have a virtual reality experience by flying Zeus to previously unreachable depths to explore shipwreck sites. Experience firsthand the high-powered winds that brought down the Republic and other famous shipwrecks as you step into the hurricane simulators. Keep an eye out for Captain John! When you finish, make sure to visit the gift shop to find a treasure of your own to take home!
