Requirements & Restrictions:Minimum age – 8 years; minimum height – 48 in. Cameras, cell phones, and other electronic devices are not allowed during the dolphin program. For safety reasons, this tour is not suitable for guests who are pregnant, have limited to no vision or hearing, lower limb amputees, with mobility difficulties or use a wheelchair, or have a condition causing sudden uncontrollable movements or loud outbursts, such as epilepsy or Tourette’s. Guests must be able to climb up and down vertical platforms, such as ladders or ramps, and stand on their own for extended periods of time (30 minutes)
What to Bring: Light clothing, water shoes, sun hat, and debit/credit card for purchases. American Express is not accepted on the island.
Good to Know: Transportation to the island is via a 35-minute, scenic boat ride, with guests booked on other Blue Lagoon tours, who may also travel together on the same boat. Paddle boards, kayaks, water bikes and snorkel gear are available for rent. Island facilities also include an open-air restaurant with a la carte food options for purchase, showers, lockers and changing rooms. Blue Lagoon Island is certified under the global American Humane Conservation program for the welfare and humane treatment of the animals under its care.
